In less than four days to the presidential election, veteran Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has advised Nigerians citizens to avoid any form of violence come Saturday’s election.
Most importantly, he emphasized that any politician who wants to involve Nigerians in any type of violence should also bring their kids to serve as the squad’s leader.
Taking to his Instagram page to advised them, he wrote, “Any candidate who wants to engage you to cause mayhem on election day, tell him to bring his children to lead the squad. Say ‘NO’ to election violence. Vote peacefully”.
Yul Edochie replied Mr Macaroni who said any politician offering you money in exchange for your vote is not going to serve you.
Reacting to his tweet, Yul said that his experience as a politician opened his eyes to see things, adding that it is the people who demand money from politicians.
He said, “I used to think it’s the politicians that offer money until I joined politics and ran for office. My eyes opened. It’s mainly the people that demand money from the politicians and put them in a tight corner where they must find money by all means to share or fall”.
